December Gathering: Andy Moore and Talanton

It was great to welcome Andy Moore, from Talanton, to speak at our December Gathering. 

He gave a personal introduction and gave a succinct and encouraging overview of the organization. Talanton focuses on investing in small and medium-sized enterprises in East Africa to create jobs and drive economic impact. Andy discussed Talanton's Christian-based mission, its investment approach targeting the "missing middle" of businesses, and highlighted several portfolio companies. He emphasised their focus on operational excellence and generating positive financial returns alongside social impact.
