It was great to hear from Five Talents CEO, Rachel Lindley and Programme Manager, Hannah Wichmann, about their approach to microfinance and business training and specifically, their work to reach marginalised communities in Eastern Africa. 

Five Talents started over twenty years ago as excitement about microfinance was at its peak. The organisation's focus on business and basic financial services remains, but its approach has changed significantly. It was fascinating to hear their lessons learned and their move towards greater self sufficiency and scalability.
