A group of TEN members enjoyed a unique opportunity to spend four days 10-13 April on a 24m ex Navy supply ship now owned by YWAM.
The trip was part of the sea going trials for Island Reach following an extensive refit. The vessel will be heading for Madagascar in the coming weeks to provide medical and dental care.
We had hoped to get to Bardsey Island but in the event the South Westerly 4-6 winds would have made an uncomfortable passage and impossible to land in the RIB. Instead we saw seals on Puffin Island and enjoyed the beautiful Menai Strait and sheltered Northern coast of Anglesey.
The four man crew were brilliant, keeping us safe and cooking us breakfast every day. We enjoyed times of worship, fellowship and story telling.
Thank you everyone who came and enthusiastically threw themselves into life on the high seas!
Do pray for YWAM and especially safe passage to Madagascar for Island Reach.
