Book your place at the TEN Retreat: Thursday 13 to Friday 14 March 2025.

Following the success of earlier retreats (scroll through TEN News tab for reports), we have again reserved rooms at Launde Abbey, a beautiful, high quality rural retreat and conference centre location. Set in 450 acres of parkland on the borders of Leicestershire and Rutland, the Abbey has extensive cultivated gardens and a wonderful twelfth century chapel (part of the original Augustinian priory).

It will be an opportunity to take time out, reflect, and get to know each other. The food is always excellent and there is a pleasant bar area where we can relax in in the evening.

There will be three relevant and practical Bible-based sessions to encourage and challenge, with time to reflect and discuss as well as times of worship and an opportunity to receive prayer. 

The retreat will be will be participatory and especially valuable for those wanting to clarify their call or seek their next steps in work and ministry. The precise details and facilitators of each session are to be finalised but this is what seems to be emerging:

• What Is? How do we see what we are doing through God's eyes? Are we distracted by reach, impact or status rather than following God's direction?

• What Could Be? "...I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions." (Joel 2:28) What vision God is giving us for the next stage of our life?

• What Will Be? To what extent did Jesus' ministry on earth have a pre-planned strategy and timetable and to what extent was he led by the Spirit? How could we move into the vision God is giving us?

Please reserve your room ASAP. Places are limited. Accommodation is in en-suite single rooms but couples will be accommodated in spacious premium double rooms where possible. So bring your partner if you wish, though it is the same price per person.

We will endeavour to arrange lifts from the local rail station Oakham or from Peterborough (on the East Coast Mainline). Let me know your travel plans and I will be happy to co-ordinate arrangements.

The event is for TEN Members and their partners, but you can join at the event.

The cost includes room, two lunches, breakfast and evening meal. 

COST PER PERSON: £50 deposit plus balance of £120 (including VAT), payable by 31 January. We will remind you when the time comes. This is the direct full board cost, other expenses will be covered by TEN.
